Tax Preparation and the Affordable Care Act

The health care law, known as the Affordable Care Act (ACA), will bring some changes to the 2014 federal income tax return that individuals file in 2015. This year marks the first time that taxpayers will be asked to report health care coverage, and individuals who purchased coverage through the Health Insurance Marketplace may be eligible for the premium tax credit.
