About Myself:
I grew up in Wisconsin and attended college at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
I worked as a special education teacher in Milwaukee for seven years before going back to UW-Madison to complete my master degree. After two more years teaching I moved to Des Moines and began working as a special education consultant. I started working at ASK in 2002 as a family support coordinator and am happy to return to the team after taking a few years off to be with my young children :)

My husband Michael and I have two children, a daughter age 8 and son age 5.
I'm here because...
I have a nephew who is on the Autism Spectrum and another who has a seizure disorder.

Meet "Julia" on Sesame Street
