AT for employment AT for job exploration
As your child begins to plan for transition to adult life, employment in the community should be a priority. In fact, top of your mind starting even now to plan for success. Job exploration is part of the transition process. Success in adult employment is strongly supported by and linked to after school work, summer jobs, and volunteer work.

The key word being "transition", moving toward adult life skills, settings and responsibilties. During your child's transition years, PLAN for success >> think about what assistive technology he or she needs to try out and learn how to use in order to be as independent and SUCCESSFUL as possible in their adult life .
