Summer Camp responsibilities under ADA

Article from NE ADA center

With summer upon us, camp season is about to begin. In May 2015, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) along with U.S. Attorney's offices nationwide, issued a notice reinforcing the importance of inclusion when it comes to summer camps (link here: https://www.justice.gov/file/campadaflyerpdf/download).

Whether you are a parent or guardian of a child with a disability or you operate a summer camp, now is a good time to learn more about the responsibilities of summer camps under the ADA. The Northeast ADA Center has a blog post on LinkedIn with more information (link here: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/spring-has-sprung-time-consider-what-kids-do-all-summer-center)
