The term Assistive Technology (AT) can sound incredibly complex but the actual AT can be something as simple as a post-it note. A post-it note is a specific example of a lower tech AT, whereas an iPad would be an example of a high tech AT. A few years back a booklet was created for Assistive Technology for Brain Injury.
